sycoticbanshee00 Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 ok guys i know that most of you have modified air filtration systems. so yeah bottom line whats the best setup because i have a stock airbox setup and it always gets me nervous when i go to ride. i do sand and every time when i get back from riding i take off the filter and theres is always a little bit of sand in between where it connects to the carb. i just want to know what is the best filter setup for these bikes period in terms of keeping the engine clean.i was thinking of the twin k& s that connect to the carbs those look clean. BansheeBillyBob Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 get the adaptor plate that bolts right to the airbox and u can run either a K&n or a foam filter that part is up to u. personally i like the foam better then the K&N. then u can ditch that airbox lid while u are at it. there is a few ppl that make the adaptors i have a prodesign one Quote
