Cpal321 Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 Hey i got a 2002 banshee that is leaking coolant from the overflow hose and its going all over my exhaust, the box of coolant under my seat is only half full so i dont understand why it is leaking, Quote
Virtualbat Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 they tend to do that when going down hill. just relocate your bottle to the front and rerun your hoses. I got rid of mine all together. just need to check water level more often. Quote
brugal Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 Eliminate the problem all together, get rid of the reserve and the hose Quote
Cpal321 Posted September 1, 2005 Author Report Posted September 1, 2005 Anyone help me out on doing this! and what do you mean by reserve , do you mean the reserve coolant box under my seat! Quote

350TwinDeathBed Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 I just dealt with the same problem. Overflow leaking usually means the engine is getting too hot. When warming up the engine, rev it to keep the fuel burning and when taking a break, don't let the engine sit on at all. Try to keep your engine cool, that's all I can say. I may be wrong on this one and I sure don't know as much about the Banshee as the Legends on this site, but maybe my suggestion will point you in the right direction. Good luck. Quote
