watkins Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 A buddy of mine has a YFZ450 and its currently jetted perfectly for a FMF Titanium 4 Mid Pipe and Slip-on. He just now purchased the matching header piece for it and is going to need to rejet. Now I know how to jet the banshee... but any idea on how many sizes he will need to go up on the mains for a header piece? I know this is the banshee forum.. but I also know many of you have YFZ450's. Quote
Ducman Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 I would say probably a 170 main would work good. With a midpipe/slip-on typically a 165 or 168 main works good (airbox lid off, sea level) and a 168 to 172 main is good for the full system (airbox lid off, sea level). Some full systems can go larger than 170 but not much. A very highly modded 450 should typically still not go over 180 main. Quote
