She's down and so am I. Even if I was too busy to ride it wouldn't be as bad as not being able to. It's a sick feeling.

I recently dropped a new clutch in, Barnett with the hd springs, and had to groove my stock basket. Well just recently my clutch had been hanging up, I lubed it up (the cable) but evently it just completly popped out(down at the bottom not at the lever).

When I tried to get it back together and readjusted the cable at the lever it seems like it is a inch or two too long. I was hoping I stretched it thinking that the stiffer clutch did it but my friend (who owns a local bike shop and is a cert. mech.) said it looks like we'll be opening her up!

Anybody want to take a stab at this one with a guess before I really find out.

Thanks in advance.

any chance that the ball fell out when you took the pressure plate off? did you adjust the clutch using the nut in the center of the pressure plate and make sure that the clutch arm lines up with the arrow on the case.

Thanks alot guys, I can always count on you all when it comes down to turning wrenches.

I'm so busy right now w/ work I just dropped it off at the local shop plus I'll be honest I'm not too comfortable with getting everything back together and lined up(taking it apart would probably be easy!), but reading up on the clymer's I can see where you guys are heading w/ it. I should get a answer back in the next few days. Hopefully it's not deep by the gears and have to split the cases.

I just hope all goes well and quick because the next chance I get to ride I sure don't want to riding the (wife's) Blaster
