JA66 Posted August 28, 2005 Report Posted August 28, 2005 I had to move the shifter up on my bike, I wouldn't put my foot under the shifter until I shifted, then, since it was too low, it would just stay in the up position and I couldn't get my foot low enough to neutral it out so I could up shift again. Brian060 Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 you shift by rocking your foot instead of pivoting at your ankle. Harder to do when sitting since you can rock your body. take an aggressive knees bent stance and its perfect 408707[/snapback] Word! I will never ride without my Tech 6's! I love em Quote
Wallrat Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 Considering they're used I'd say they're prolly already as broken in as they're gonna get. Like everyone else said, just tweak with the shifter/change your shifting style. If all else fails, buy a different shifter. GP shifting would be the shiz! I converted to it on my sportbike and had to get used to regular shifting again when I sold it to get the shee. It could prolly be done, just have to make some kind of linkage and bolt the shifter to the inside of the footpeg or something. Eh, I've got too many projects already - I'll give this one to somebody else. Quote
