wooten Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 what kind of coolant do you guys run in your banshee's and where is the water pump at on this thing Quote
Big Blue Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 I run regular coolant in mine, the water pump is on the front side of the clutch cover just follow the hose from your radiator. Quote
wooten Posted August 24, 2005 Author Report Posted August 24, 2005 just regular antifreeze huh sounds good thanks man Quote
bigboybanshee Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 Regular antifreeze is fine, that's what came in it from the factory. I use Engine Ice though...dropped the overall temp of the engine by 15-20 degrees. You can pick it up at your local dealership for 20 bucks a bottle, one will fill your radiator. Quote
wooten Posted August 25, 2005 Author Report Posted August 25, 2005 how much fluid does this thing hold and do you drain it from the head or the radiator and is there a certain way to put it in to keep air bubbles out thanks Quote

wooten Posted August 25, 2005 Author Report Posted August 25, 2005 does that drain it out of the motor too Quote
bigboybanshee Posted August 25, 2005 Report Posted August 25, 2005 Most of it...there might be a little coolant left in the engine if you don't pull the plug on the jugs....I've always just pulled the rad. hose from the radiator itself and the return hose coming from the water pump cover and hadn't had a problem in 2 years. You'll see the fluid pour out of the head too. Quote
