racer714 Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 I have the opportunity to pick up a set of bills pipes, new at a great price, does anyone her have any input/experience/opinions on these?? Do they add much to low end, Im not really interested in top end so much in my type of ridiing Quote
trail rider Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 we have a set of bill's pipes on the shee, they were already on there when we got it. they have a nice smooth power band and seem to pull pretty good on top end, they even pull good for trail riding, but thats just my opinion Quote
97banshee350 Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 ive never owned a pair of bills pipes but ive rode with people who do and they sound pretty good. Quote
Purdy_350X Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 I just bought some bills pipes myself, haven't had them out yet, just need to fine tune the jetting. But my cousin is running bills on an otherwise stock banshee, other than the snorkel removed from the airbox lid and he dominates another guy that has t-6s on his bike, and a 450r that has a full fmf factory 4 set up on it. and they sound freakin AWESOME! JasonsBanshee Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Bills are a very nice pipe. I used to run them before I got my CPI's. I never heard anyone complain about them. Quote
noissesboyobyalp Posted September 16, 2005 Report Posted September 16, 2005 hey jason i have a set of bills to. they dont look like yours though. the rear sciencler mounts are different. did you use the stock springs on your pipes b/c my spring is too big and doesnt pull the pipe to the engine. those are my scienclers and these are my pipes also my pipes have imperfections.i dont know why but the guy i boguht them from off of ebay said that they were new and they have like weld marks and like scratch marks around the welds. on one of the welds it has those beads that build up. i asked him why they were like this and he said that they come from the factory like this. thats why there price is less than other pipes. i was life wtf they wouldnt sell pipes like this. well i dont really car as long as they work. before i get them re chromed or do it my self im doing to get all the imperfections out, Quote
