i GOT FMF FATTYS K/N NO SNORKLE 260 MAINS 30 PILOTS IN 3RD-6TH GEARS IT SEEMS LIKE IT DOESNT WANT TO KICK IN THE POWERBAND TILL ITS IN HIGH RPMS,IT IS SLUGISH WHEN YOU CHANGE GEARS AND PIN THE THROTTLE OPEN, i AM IN MISSOURI, DONT KNOW ALT..THE NEEDLES ARE IN THE 3RD FROM THE TOP AND RUNNING THE STOCK REEDS..ALSO TROUBLE TAKEING OFF FROM A STOP HAVE TO BE REALLY REVED UP TO TAKE OFF?????

What kind of reeds you runing? 260 mains seem a little low for pipes and a K&N

That is what FMF says for the pipes, i use stock reeds, what do you recomend for jets??

I have fatties and I'm runnin 320 mains, 3rd clip on the needle and 27.5 pilots. But I'm also runnin v force 3 reed cages and a K&n air filter with no air box lid and I'm at sea level. It pretty much hauls ass. That may help you. Just a word of advice, when you go to changin shit, do one of your fuel circuits at a time and get plenty of spark plugs and check them.

It's all trial and error.

Put the stock pilots back in (25's) or 27.5's if you have them. That should make the lowend better. Also, throw in 270 main jets and see what that does.

I put a 280 main in and took the airbox lid off, it didnt make any differance, still had the 30 pilot in.is the main to high it seems to me like it is rich at bottom end ????????

yes that is why you need to change your pilot to a 27.5 to lean the lower end your main just controls wot.

I Have Fattys, Im Running 280 Mains, 27.5 Pilots, 927Feet Above Sea Level.

Thanks guys I put in the stock 25 pilots and droped needle 1 pos. and she runs perfect from low to top..BUT now I need a new clutch any ideas on which one is the best..all opinions welcome??????
