Otis Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 (edited) i removed the gear from the stock cluth basket, and didnt realize there was a washer between the two(it fell off when i took the gear off the basket.... which way does this washer sit on the gear? Does the outer diameter face up, like in the first picture(on the left) or face down towards the gear, like in the picture on the right? Edited August 9, 2005 by Otis Quote

MILO Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 what difference will it make if you have it in backwards?? the same thing happened to me when i had it apart. honestly, i don't remember which way i put it in, it's been a few months. i guess if it was wrong and could be a big issue it would have come about by now. I'm thinkin that it might not let the back plate seat properly if not put in right, but.... hey are there torque specs on back plate screws?? There's nothing in the directions about it, but i thought i'd ask anyway...just in case... Quote
