Handyman Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 (edited) Ok people I have a weird problem here and hopefully you can help. Went to load the banshee up to go to the track for the first time and as a ritual I take a quick ride down the street to see if any thing is wrong. Well on my way back to the house the left cyclinder/carb cut out when I applied the throttle. When I came off the throttle I can hear the left carb/cylinder come alive. I gave it a little gas and it happened again. When the left side cuts the exaust pipe sounds hollow compared to the right side and it sounds really odd. I have already tried swapping the plug caps around and that doesn't do anything. I have run out fo ideas and not sure if it's electrical or something else. When I first left the house both sides were firing but when I turned around is when it happened. There is also a little backfiring when the the left decides to work properly. Elev: 400 ft above sea level Outside temp: 100 degrees Main: 340 Clip Pos.: 5th from top Air screw adj: 1.5 turns from seated (tried 2 turns as well with no change) K&N filter pods with no airbox(filters are clean) Pro circuit platinum series pipes Bored to 2nd oversize from stock bore with wiseco pro lite pistons Edited August 6, 2005 by Handyman Quote
