Handyman Posted July 29, 2005 Report Posted July 29, 2005 If the wires are cut at the carbs make sure the wires are disconnected or cut from the throttle housing. if they are then check the electrical connections from the TORS housing to the little box under the tank attached to the the left side of the frame. Turn the screws on the TORS housing clockwise until you can turn no more, don't torque the screws. Turn counter clockwise 3 full turns. The air screws have to be turned ccw 2 full turns from seated position. Quote
MonoxideChild420 Posted July 31, 2005 Author Report Posted July 31, 2005 ok .so i turn my air screw two full turns from being fully sewted, then i turn my T.O.R.S. screws three full turns out, from being fully seated.. allright ill try this tomorrow. also. i dont know if you have any knowledge about the T.O.R.S. eliminator kit, but i bought one from vitos performance.com and also i bought about a few foot of clear blue fuel hosing, and i didnt know if one jet kit would be enough for both carbs so i bout one extra..and i was wondering if this is enough to rebuild the carbs and hook up the kit..? On the airscrew, I like to start at 1.5 turns out then work my way out. Quote

It came with the barbs screw on caps, idle screws, drill bit and tap. You also have to buy a new throttle cable because the old one won't work. Quote
