I just installed a dual outlet petcock, and i had to cut out a small amount of plastic so the petcock screen would fit into the tank. And I may have got some shavings into the tank.

 

My question is what could i use to clear out any crud that may be left in there.

Just pour a little gas in the tank (not race gas, too damn expensive) shake it up and pour that shit on your neighbors lawn. Repeat twice as needed.

not yet. I had a few people come test drive it, but no takers yet. You should buy it for your girl.

What I've done with stuff that should NEVER be poured on the ground or down a drain, is this. Get a 5 gallon bucket, pour some water in your tank, then shake it. Pour the contents into the bucket. Repeat. Let the shit in the bucket evaporate. Make sure no kids or dogs are going to get into it. Once its evaporated put the bucket away so no one trips over it.
