Spitfire Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 Ok folks, I know this isn't related to a Banshee, but this is the only 4 wheeler forum I know of, and I figured my a-arm problems could probably be answered here. This is on a '86 LT250R, with what I'm told are dual-rate works shocks with rezzies. My problem is at the bottom of the shock, where it mounts to the a-arm, there seems to be a missing bushing of some sort, causing a loud clank anytime I land a wheelie or a jump. My friend told me that you can't just buy this bushing, but I could probably find one out of another shock, and use that, is this true? I want to get this fixed ASAP, sure don't make me feel very safe hearing that noise. Let me know what you guys think, thanks!! Quote
BansheeCJ3 Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 I need them tooooooooooooooooooooooo. Quote
racer Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 try just making one if you cant buy it. or go to a dealer and have the parts dude match your shit up. 9 times out of 10, they will have something very similar. Quote
chris642 Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 are you sure its the shocks? i never had that problem, however, the swingarm skid plate came lose a couple times and made that loud clank sound. Quote
Spitfire Posted July 20, 2005 Author Report Posted July 20, 2005 Yeah, it's definately a missing bushing at the bottom of the shocks, it's no big deal though. If I bring the shock to my Suzuki dealer, I can guarantee they'll be assholes about it, and refuse to help me because it isn't a Suzuki part. I'll figure something out, thanks guys. Quote
