I am thinking of doing some other mods on the shee. I have a single carb, 2 into 1 pipe, prodesign cool head, and bored 20 over. I was thinking of changing back to twin carbs if I can find a set for cheap. Dont know the advantages or disadvantages of twin carbs compared to single besides I think the twin would have more potential in the long run. Also I was thinkin some different pipes and maybe a port job. You guys have any suggestions of what will be the most hp gain or the best for the $? Let me know what you guys think.

A port job is going to be the cheapest way to make more power. Change out your pipes for some t5's or fattys, and maybe some 28mm carbs. Also a nossmachine cool head to keep your bike running cool.

Increasing compression if haven't already as well as advance your timing. Porting is probably the single most performance improving modification you can do to the shee and then pipes. If your wanting more top end power then look for twin pipes and carbs. After you figure out what type of porting and pipes will benefit your riding best you can look at getting some aftermarket reeds like the v-force II's, lightened flywheel etc. Just make sure your mods compliment each other.

Hang onto the 2:1 carb for now and switch pipes, or get rid of both and PM bigboybanshee about the carbs setup he has for sale if he hasnt already sold it, I think he may have 2 sets of pipes he may be willing to sell.

I would keep the 2 into 1 carb, go with a set of FMF fattys and find a builder you can trust and get a good port job...maybe add a Noss head to raise the compression too. That would be the best bang for your buck

I still have the carb setup but the Paul Turners and the T5's are both sold. :shrugani:

I think a good port job,34 or 35mm carbs, shaved head, and K&N filters should do the trick. It should be alot faster. If you'll look at the really fast banshees, all the ones I've seen were running dual carbs.Toomey T-5's are a good choice.I think the best choices would be either Shearer or CPI.The shearer in-frames I have pull very hard on top end.I've also seen some very fast banshees with CPI's also.
