I run a 13/42

 

shee mods........

4mm stroker longrod (weisco Hot rod)

ported

cool head w/ big bore domes

Blaster Pistons

t-5

28mm carbs

8 paddle w/+4 swingarm

 

I ran a 13/41.......and I was hitting the clutch to much!

 

13/42 OK?

I run 14 42 with 22x10x8 haulers on both shees works good for me i tryed the 13 tooth front and yea to much shifting

going up on the rear sprocket and going down on the front sprocket losses top end speed. going down on the rear sprocket and going up on the front sprocket increases top end. the reason your are shifting more is because the 13 front sprocket has shortened your gears. i say try stock gearing (14/41) or 14/40 .
