Polish Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 I run a 13/42 shee mods........ 4mm stroker longrod (weisco Hot rod) ported cool head w/ big bore domes Blaster Pistons t-5 28mm carbs 8 paddle w/+4 swingarm I ran a 13/41.......and I was hitting the clutch to much! 13/42 OK? Quote

decon Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 going up on the rear sprocket and going down on the front sprocket losses top end speed. going down on the rear sprocket and going up on the front sprocket increases top end. the reason your are shifting more is because the 13 front sprocket has shortened your gears. i say try stock gearing (14/41) or 14/40 .
