socal Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 I have a 2005 banshee and when I touch the thumb throttle it accelerates without actually pushing in the throttle. It is sensitive to the touch. Has anyone ever encountered anything like this? And does anyone know how to fix it? P.S. I am new to this website. Quote

fixitrod Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 loosen the cable a little. It's just too tight. You should have some give before the carb slides start to raise when pushing the thumb throttle. Quote
