97banshee350 Posted June 19, 2005 Report Posted June 19, 2005 right now i am running stock carbs with stock jetting. i bought cylinders off ebay that have been ported and polished and bored .80 over. i was thinking of getting a set of Keihin 33PWK's but there kind of pricey. so should i get the 33PWK's or should i just jet my stock carbs? if i were to jet my stock carbs what jetting would you guys recomend? i live 1000 feet above sea level and i have fmf pipes and silencers, K&N airfilter, ported and polished cylinders, and soon to come noss machine head with 21cc domes. eehsnab2 Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 Stock carbs actually work pretty well. You might look into have them just bored out. Lots of guys I know run stock bored carbs on there ported shee's and it works really well. To certain degree and depending on your set-up, it is actually an advantage to run a smaller carb because the velocity of the air is much greater.. Quote
