planetmoto Posted June 19, 2005 Report Posted June 19, 2005 hey guys, need some help. just installed my esr 409cc cylinder. with the 4mm crank. it came with mikuni tmx 36mm carbs and his pipes , which look like shearer copies. a timing advance plate and 2 k & n filters. with 2 velocity tubes to mount the filters to the carbs. take into consideration that this is a pro x cylinder and the reed intakes are of the cr 250 design. a six bolt pattern. everything bolted on perfect. the problem beingis i cant mount the filters onto the carbs because the pipes are in the way. i have to apply pressue to the carbs and force them inward to put the filters on. if i had out of frame pipes it would be perfect. went from a trinity 2 into 1 setup and this is frustrating. any HELP different carbs etc.. thanks Quote
