wideopen Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 Hi guys i own and have owned banshees my whole life and thrown away loads o cash on them ! i have just bought a new 2005 and plan racing it this year ( and as long as i can stay up) I live in South Africa and even though its a great place to ride its not so kind on us 2stroke fans ! my bike has a set of 35mm striker carbs,pyramid reeds,pro-desighn intake and filter im also running 4 deg advanced timing coolhead 19cc domes and pro-circuit pipes,flywheel also lighned and ballanced.The barrels are still stock - i dont want these monkeys over here stuffing up my ports and transfers !! How and where (remember im in africa) can i get a good porting job done and even better are there no 2nd hand 350 ported barrels available ?? I'll just throw out a couple names that come up regularly on the HQ: PassionRE (an active HQ member, you can PM him with that screen name), Eric Gore, Patriot Racing, A&S Racing, grand river racing http://www.passionracingengines.com http://www.grandriverracing.com http://www.patriotracing.net http://www.bansheeracing.com/ Or like you mentioned, there are surely members on the HQ that have a set of ported cylinders lying around for sale. Check in the for sale section, there may be some in there right now. Quote
