I duno though its a toss up between modd it , get an 06, or get a yfz for racing and shit and then keep the shee for my nephwe and ripping around here Quote
FoxBansheeRacing Posted June 14, 2005 Report Posted June 14, 2005 If you end up selling the 97 for an 06, buy the 06 first, swap out all the aftermarket stuff from the 97 to the 06, and sell the 97 stock. You probably wont get that much more for it with the aftermarket stuff on it anyway. Quote

rjvoight Posted June 14, 2005 Report Posted June 14, 2005 If you are going to do mx, you would be money ahead in the long run if you bought a YFZ and learned to ride the four-stroke. Keep your current bike whatever you decide, especially if you buy a YFZ, then you have one of each. If you were going to buy the 06 and set it up for sand, I would say go for it but i dont think that is in your plans at all. Go with an MX bike for MX. RJV Quote

I guess i should go with the yfz then. either way it will be sweet. the yfz in canada will cost me over 10 grand though. so ill be going on a payment plan for that and ill prolly get the 06. The thing that sucks is it will take me 6 years to pay it off Quote
