Man alot of guys won't answer this question due to the fact it has been posted thousands of times, there is a jetting article at the top of the page and the only way you'll know it needs to be rejetted is the way it is running and by what color your pluggs are........have a good one

True...covered time and time again...but, to help get you in the ball park.

If it's a K&N and you're keeping the airbox:

260 to 290 Main

27.5 or 30.0 Pilot (25 is stock)

If it's a K&N Pod air filter setup (NO airbox, clamp on to carbs)

270 to 310 Main

Same Pilots as above.

I read the sticky on this forum about jetting...and it go me very, very close on mine....It looks like a lot of reading, but it is great, great info....

Also if you are still using the stock needles you should lower the clips one notch toward the blunt end.

#30 pilots, air screws 2 turn out, needle middle clip, 300 mains for K&N with lid off, 280 for K&N with lid on (snorkel removed).

Add 1 main size if it gets below 55 deg add another if below 30 ect. ect., subtract 1 if over 90.

You think he needs that rich of a main at 1400 feet still using an air box?

I have none with T5s...and I'm at 330s.

You definately have a ballpark figure for your jetting now...it's up to you to fine tune it...

I jetted my banshee with 260 mains stock pilots and moved the needle clip. Its got alittle stumble on take off but not really that bad and it seems to pull good but seems like its running hot could it be running lean yet? It also takes a few more kicks to start now. All I put on were my FMF Gnarlies and silencers and removed the snorkel.

Check your plug to see if it's running lean. And...yes, if it's lean, it's running hot.

What pilot did you put in, and what about the air screws.

Put your needle back to stock, middle clip, too...
