01bansheeke Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 i'd ditch it unless you really want it. No real need for it. Quote
XxMeltIcexX Posted June 13, 2005 Author Report Posted June 13, 2005 So itl spit it all out and i have to keep filling it up!? not gonna happen... Quote
Bansh88 Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 Don't need to fill it up. Route the hose straight down from the radiator. Any drip will go to the ground. Maybe check the Radiator level once in a awhile. I've gone out 3 trips since I 86d mine and no probs. Radiator level is still topped off. This is on 2 Summer trips too! Quote
01bansheeke Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 willing to bet you won't find that many people on here who still run them. Most of the people who do only run them because they didn't know you couldn't take them off. Quote
Bansh88 Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 I never knew you could. Until a friend of mine ripped it off and said "get this fuckin thing outta here!" Quote
Holyman Posted June 15, 2005 Report Posted June 15, 2005 I kept mine and moved it behind the bumper. It doesn't spill out any more and it keeps more coolant in the radiator since the coolant will be sucked back into the radiator once the coolant cools down. And there's no sense putting coolant on the ground. You can route the hose to the front and zip tie it or make a bracket like I did for a few bucks and some aluminum angle. Here's a pic... Quote
