Stevo84 Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 ok well we got this kodiak and we dont know what year it is we think its either a 01 or 00 and were can u find the serial number for 1 and plus im not realy sure how the automatic transmition works but it wont shift at higher rpms like it use 2 so yeah if any 1 has any idea whats going on it would be a loads of help... by the wat its a 4X4 transmition Quote

(look around ) The problem with your tranny might be your drive belt was it ever replaced/ it can be worn this happened to me on my snowmobile other wise you gota to try your hardest to locate the main problem and post itis your machine slipping the belt does it sound like it wants to into a higher gear are you gettin you ass handeds to you buy a bayou (long live the bayou!). maybe new springs for the clutch, new weights. an automatic uses a drive and a driven clutch, at least i call it that the drive is spun by the engine and and the belt and drive spin the driven, making you machine move! a 4x4 means the machine is always in 4 wheel drive.
