bdrak11 Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 Im alittle new to this ite but have been working on shees for a while. 20:1 sounds like way to much oil to any amount of fuel. Use a ratio rite cup and go 38:1 or 40:1. The oil only lubes the crank and 91 octane will keep it descently cool.An example would be your engine is sucking in 1 ounce of gas. At 20:1 thats 1/2 ounce of oil and 1/2 ounce of gas, which enas less gas. At 40:1 your taking in 3/4 ounce gas and a 1/4 oil, which means better cooler engine, and less chance of detonation. Quote
