njbanshee Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 I just put a plus 2 extended swingarm and a plus 2 extended axle on my bike and now i have a bog in 2nd gear and it just doesn't seem to rip like it used to. I had problems finding the right jetts, then i figured it out, then i did the new mods, now im all fucked up again. I used a cleaner to really clean my air filter, and man did it work, would that cause my jetts to be off? Any advice would be appreciated. Quote
williamjernigan Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 Well you could be spinning really bad coming out of the hole in first. When you shift to second the tire speed is probrably starting to slow down with the engine because of your gearing and setup. When your tires start to spin really fast and hard then slow down rapidly, you can feel your bikes rpms drop. Quote

race-a-holic Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 mods?gearing? size of tires? how old is the clutch? 377204[/snapback] I was having a similar problem awhile back.It only needed the clutch cable adjusted at the perch.Make sure you have a little play in the clutch lever when you first start pulling it.Made a HUGE difference.
