bigboybanshee Posted May 24, 2005 Report Posted May 24, 2005 Never dealt with him and now I won't! I've learned on ebay that unless their feedback is 100% (out of at least 50+ auctions selling) than I make email contact with them before I send out the money. That way, if I get no response back, they get no money and no one gets ripped off Sorry to hear about your loss!! Quote
Donoyfz450 Posted May 24, 2005 Report Posted May 24, 2005 I wish I had 100% on Ebay. Unfortunately I deal mostly in ATV parts and have been screwed a few times with unecessary negative feedback by Idiots. I think Im right at 98.6% which is good but it should be better. Plus alot of people are too fkn lazy to give feedback. I think out of my 279 rating Ive given out 370 in feedback. basically 2/3rds of the peoplle I deal with actually have took the time to leave feedback,,,,the other third are lazy pricks! Quote
chapmanmd Posted May 25, 2005 Author Report Posted May 25, 2005 I paid via PayPal. He sent me an email a few minutes ago, finally, after 10 emails and filing a claim with Paypal and ebay. He said that he was sorry and that he sent it to me, but with the wrong label (whatever that means) and it was returned to him. He said that he was resending today and was throwing some extra shit in the box to make up for it. I know that mistakes happen. Im not a dick. All that I wanted was to know where the fuck my stator cover was. Not communicating with people is freaking wrong. If I get my stator cover, as advertised, and some extra shit, I would forgive him. We'll see... Quote

SOME have been a total pain-in-the ass!! I've learned to contact the seller by phone before I bid. It seems to help to know that the person actually exists & I get their full name & phone number while talking to them. Also, if it's a dealer or store selling their goods on Ebay, make sure the're not a drop-shipper- usually these deals take forever to get your merchandise. My last piece of advice is to always pay by credit card thru Paypal-if you get screwed, call your credit card company & they will do a chargeback. Quote
