Jdawg82 Posted May 21, 2005 Report Posted May 21, 2005 I recently rebuilt my engine with all new pistons and crank. Well I split the cases and when I put them back together I torqued the top and forgot to torque the bottom (they were hand tight) so when I put the antifreeze in the bike it leaked. I torqued down the bolts on the bottom and the antifreeze leak stopped. I am just concerned that the antifreeze entered passages that it shouldnt. Is it possible that I could spin a crank bearing since the antifreeze made it in there or will it burn off? Do you think if I change my antifreeze and oil I should be fine? Quote
SICK BOY Posted May 21, 2005 Report Posted May 21, 2005 If it was me and I just put a new crank in,I'd split the cases again and clean everything up good. Quote
