Put an EEK needle in it the day you get it and it will be cool. Quote
sredish Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 considerably more low end than stock carbs and more top as well than stock carbs. It comes on smoother and lets you run the trails/woods easier and smoother. Coupled with a midrange pipe like Pro Circuits, Fatties and such, they run extremely well. I've never ran them with Toomey pipes, but I've heard they work pretty decent there too, just raises the powerband up some. An EEK needle will probably be a good thing to get and replace the std. DEK that comes in it, but needles are cheap, less than $10 with shipping usually. They are very easy to setup. ONE pilot, ONE main, NO syncing carbs, much easier overall, plus the throttle pull is easier since your only pulling one slide. Can you tell I'm a fan? Quote
BANJO Posted May 16, 2005 Author Report Posted May 16, 2005 yeah.. i have fattys nd im about to redo my topend.. so when the stock carbs are off.. i think they will be staying off... just so much with 2 carbs when the 2-1 is better all around.. peace devin Quote
