I am running stock carbs for now till I can afford new ones, t5's 7 degrees of timing noss head with 20 cc domes, ported stock cages with tdr reeds (for now)

and a 2 into 1 air filter kit,

I have stock pilot 280 mains, toomey needles, and air screws at 2 turns out right now

any help would be great

thanks

the guy I got the cylinders from said they should be good for around 70-75 hp but he had 35mm carbs not stock

I would start with 27.5 pilots.

Start with about 350 Mains.

1.5 out on the air screws, and a box of plugs.

Go from there...

You're really killing that engine with those carbs...as you know.

Did you try calling Vito's...see what they say...

Not really a question of leaner or richer...they are definately longer, which generally means your mains will kick in a bit later.

I assume you mean the dynojet needles in the Toomey kit.

Put the clip in the 4th groove down from the blunt end, there should be 6 notches instead of stock 5.

You're going to need to dial the mains in first, or you could spend all day reclipping the needles.

Make sure your carbs are sync'd properly, too.

vitos emailed my back and said to go with a 350 main 30 pilot and they tryed selling me a set of there dyno jet needles, does anyone know if theres are the same as toomeys, they also said I am running to much timing, is this the case?

I run straight 110 turbo blue at 32 to 1 so I don't think 7 degrees is to high

any help would be great thanks

what size is the stock pilot ??

we run 8 on 7mm strokers, stock crank with 110 should be ok. watch your temp and if your plugs turn yellow turn it back 2 degrees.
