edge076 Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 I am going to Colorado next week and the elvation is at 7000 to 8000 feet, i am at 3200 ft. where i live , does anyone know if i am goin to have to rejet or not, I have heard from sea level to 10000 ft that you are alright, but i don't know. You're going to have to lean out your jetting, or...less fuel. For every 1500 to 2000 feet change in elevation you'll have to lean out your Mains 1 jet. You're going to probably have to lean out your air screws, too. I'd say start two main jets leaner. Turn in your air screws .5 to 1 turn. Go from there.
