Thanks in advance for any info. 365527[/snapback] I was talking with my sheet metal guy last week about fabbing an aluminum tank for my project bike. He said on something that shakes as much as these bikes do with the terrain they travel on, he said stainless is a much better choice for a tank if its going to be welded together. I have no experience with either a stainless or aluminum tank. All I know is this guy knows his shit. 35+ years in the fab/welding business and its the guy that welds my swingarms. Quote
