Decided to port my Banshee motor, ported many diff 2 cycles motors , cr-honda, blasters,250R and many various Kart motors over the years. But never a Banshee motor.Was wondering if there was anybody on here doing their own port/head work that would share some of their experiances.

 

Just wondering if the degree numbers changed much in a banshee motor than anyother typical build.I was looking for a trail/mid range power.

 

I was wondering if exhst at 85/185-187 and transfers 117/128-30 with a blowdone of 30 degrees would be good numbers? I haven't put the degree wheel on to record the stock numbers yet but was curious to some mid range build numbers would be from a few others opinions.

 

Just curious what the options were to using the stock chambers and squish band and milling the head rather than going to an aftermarket head right away for economical reasons

 

Would appriciate any help and some bench/port talk from others who do their own work
