cudaz101 Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I ordered some of these Maxxis tires pictured below. Anyone use them?? Brad Quote
ledofthezep Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I just bought some for my trx125, going to pick them up & bolt them on today. Probably a little overkill...but owell. Quote
trail rider Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 I've heard that they have really good traction for mud, loose dirt and hardpack, most trail conditions and that they last a long time. But I've heard people say that they are really hard to slide with, because of the large side knobs and tend to make it hard to get out of deep ruts. I just got some maxxis sur tracs and I love em' These things really hook up grate in mud and really good in loose dirt, kinda spin a little in real hard, slick ground though. they are awesome on trails and hill climbs. KoooPSD Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 I had these on my blaster, they got awesome traction and lasted forever.......i rode for 3 years and they were still brand new when i sold it to buy the shee. When i buy new tires for the shee i was planning on buying these again. Quote
wayfst Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 this is the tire we use in idaho for the grass drag. 1st or 2nd 3 years running. Quote
cudaz101 Posted May 4, 2005 Author Report Posted May 4, 2005 I have a set of Maxxis Sure-Trac tires as well...They are on my stock rims & have been GREAT. I got another set of wheels and wanted to get a differant type of tire for other conditions. I am really happy with all the feed-back on them. Can't wait to try them out. Brad Quote
JKJK Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 I use them.they have excellent strait line hook up,also a great all around tire.they are heavy though(6 ply)+only come in 22in.I let Reas borrow a set for coalfest+ he was impressed with their performance. Quote
