Runs Like Crap

Ijust picked up an 1994 banshee and the guy that i got it from messed around with the carbs,i don't even know what it has in it for jets right now but it runs like crap. it has:

 

fmf pipes

boost bootle

k&n

and it's 60 over

 

What do you think i sould be running for jets?

i dont know if i am correct but i would think with stock carbs, maybe 280-300 mains or sumthin. Dont just take it from me, see wut other people say. Depending on your elevation too.

is your lid on or off? ANy holes in the box? Id say 270 - 280 for lid on, 310-320 for removed lid...

 

hows it running? pull the float bowls and see what you have in there

if they are stock carbs start at 300 and work your way down.. im guessing you'll need a 260 or a 280..

 

i ran a kn .. pc pipes.. and jetted at 260 mains at 600 above sea level on stock carbs

 

the boost bottle doesnt do anything for jetting.
