Piston Question

Recommended Posts

This may sound like a stupid question to most, but here goes. I have an rz top end on my banshee, can I use banshee pistons in it or do I need to go with RZ pistons? My local dealer tells me the first oversize from stock on the rz is half a millimeter over....where the banshee is .10". Half a millimeter sounds like alot but I am far from a machinest so I don't know, half a mill and .10" may be the same :shrugani:

Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can get this thing back together.

Thanks

Both pistons (banshee and rz/rd) are 64.00 mm in size stock.

.10" = 0.25MM

.20" = 0.50MM

banshee .10 oversized pistons are not always easy to get.

Wiseco lists kits for banshee and rz's.

I ran rz pistons in a banshee and had no issue's

if you wanna be absolutly sure.. then go with rz pistons.
