Quinlan Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 This may sound like a stupid question to most, but here goes. I have an rz top end on my banshee, can I use banshee pistons in it or do I need to go with RZ pistons? My local dealer tells me the first oversize from stock on the rz is half a millimeter over....where the banshee is .10". Half a millimeter sounds like alot but I am far from a machinest so I don't know, half a mill and .10" may be the same Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can get this thing back together. Thanks Quote
Nighty Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 Both pistons (banshee and rz/rd) are 64.00 mm in size stock. .10" = 0.25MM .20" = 0.50MM banshee .10 oversized pistons are not always easy to get. Wiseco lists kits for banshee and rz's. I ran rz pistons in a banshee and had no issue's if you wanna be absolutly sure.. then go with rz pistons. Quote
Quinlan Posted April 18, 2005 Author Report Posted April 18, 2005 Thanks for the info/reply. It's alot harder for me to get rz pistons than it is banshee ones, so i'll go with the banshee ones. Thanks again Quote
