Hi Guys,

 

How do I get the rear axle carrier bearing and oil seal out easily?

I had a quick look and it looks quite complex

Appreciate any advice beofre I attempt it,

If you haven't done so yet, get a clymers manual & it will walk you through doing this. Not much to it, not everything comes out easy though, may have to do some tapping & prying if they're rusted in there.

this isnt hard at all.. you can find the how to on www.bansheezone.com

 

i believe thats the website.. it has pictures and everything for ya.. good luck took me maybe an hour to do the whole thing and i took my sweet time cuz i had a 6 pack and just fiddled around :cheers:

www.thebansheezone.com is gone now. It was a kewl site, but no longer there.

I started getting the bearings out, got the seals out, now battling to get the bearings out. Will continue tonight.
