I am hearing a fast sparking/clicking sound from this part in my ignition system and I dont know what it is. I have checked the connections and they are good. The sound is coming from inside this box thingy. Any ideas? Thanks guys. Quote

Nighty Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 looks like a starting relais. if your battery is weak and you try to start the bike this thingy will make a sparky sound. if your bat is ok.. and connections are good.. it might be failing on you. Quote
MudSlinger09 Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 well this probly dont mean shit on my side but , on my 300 4x4 the starter gave out , and itd make a clickin sound at the battery area . just one click as long as u held the starter . u might wanna break into the starter and see if u need new brushes like i did. pretty cheap fix Quote
