01bansheefox Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 As my other posts says im building my shee from the ground up, I have "ALL" the wiring and its still conected from when i tore it off but if anyone has some pictures up close just so i see how it is all mounted and i know its in the right spot, and nothing is put on backwards, thanks. NugShee Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 just start at the tailight and work forward. the wiring runs up the right side of the bike till it gets to the gas tank. once to that point it crosses over to the middle of the frame and runs down the center under the tank. thats about all there is to it. You can also get rid of a lot of those wires by disconnecting the ebrake wire, tors wires, and throttle wire. just cut those wires as close to those points as you can and remove them. once you do this you can remove that little black box above the left cylender. Hope this helped a little. If your still unclear about anything let me know. Quote
sredish Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 and a clymers would help. let me see if I have any frame pics, but i doubt I do. Quote
01bansheefox Posted April 14, 2005 Author Report Posted April 14, 2005 I have a clymers but dont see anything about removing all the wires ummm should i do the wires last then? I am pretty much doing them first, i dont have a motor in or anything yet. Quote
white trash Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 should i do the wires last then? I am pretty much doing them first, i dont have a motor in or anything yet. 355379[/snapback] I would at least wait till you have the motor in. Do like the other dude said and get rid of anything you can. Start at the back and work forward. I took pics when i did mine, but to be honest i didnt even look at them when i hooked everything back up. I didnt like how it came, where you could see most of the wires. So i routed everything my own way and hide it all the best i could, everything is still pretty much the stock routing, just tucked away, and hidden a bit better. The reason i say to wait till you have you motor in is becasue you need to connect the stator wires to make sur eyou have enough slack / clearance everywhere Quote
SICK BOY Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 This should help you out,and I think if you invest $20 into a Clymer or Haynes manual it would be the best money yo ever spent. Quote
