Unfortunately that oil seal has a rib that goes around it and to do it correctly it is necessary to split the cases. I have heard of people forcing it in before, but how long till you have to do it again, dunno.

has any one here forced the seal in ? or maybe trying a diferent seal that doesnt have the rib ? ive been thinking that maybe a seal with out the rib could be hold in place because the seal goes first then the two gears locked with the crankshaft nut?
