~~Banshee~~ Posted April 12, 2005 Author Report Posted April 12, 2005 Also how do i get the front brake line off? The part that goes along with the A-arms then goes into a braket in the frame. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 I have had great results using a dead blow ball peen hammer, loosen teh tie rod nuts, hit the base of the stem with the hammer and they usally pop right off. If that does not work, rent a tie rod puller from you local auto parts store. Quote

~~Banshee~~ Posted April 12, 2005 Author Report Posted April 12, 2005 I got it off,but now the brake line wont let me get the a-arms off! Quote
racer Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 i got frustrated when removing my arms. so i cut them shitty stock hardlines and got new SS braided ones. good thing you can never spend too much on youre shee! Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 If you still have factory brake lines ran in tha factory configuration you'll need to remove the caliper form the spindle and "snake" it through the upper control arm. This way you don't have to bleed the brakes. May want to pick up a Clymers manual too. Quote
JARE77 Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 If you are just trying to get the a arms off then you dont need to remove the brake lines. Just pull your front tires take out the two bolts that hold your calipers on remove the calipers, seperate your ball joints from the spindles, remove the pivot bolts from the a arms and your laughing.
