J12480 Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 I'm rebuilding my motor and I replaced the crankshaft. I was installing the trans gears when I noticed the center shaft and gears moved about an 1/8th on an inch back and fourth. I was reading the clymers manual and it said that you can shim the trans gears and shafts. I was wondering if any one has done this and if they have some pics of it? Also anyone have some input on some mods while I have the engine apart? Thanks for any help Quote
