Before I had put in the V-force's I was around a 170 main w/ the needle on the first or second clip from the blunt end. It's gonna be hard to try to guess where you're needle clip is suppose to be. I think that's something you'll have to mess with when you get the main and pilot set. By the way....how far away is Enfield, IL from eastern Iowa? theeechozen1 Posted April 11, 2005 Report Share Posted April 11, 2005 I would start with a 180 main and 52 pilot, needle 3rd clip mine ran like a beast with that set-up, I moved to Reno (4500' above sea-level) and it ran perfect with a 170 main and the same set-up, plug chop was dead-on **this was with a 38mm PWK though** Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
