Front end squeakin...

Recommended Posts

Lots of squeaking from the front end...96 shee.

Greased 'er up good where there were fittings, and then jumped up and down on her for a few minutes to work it in.

Still bad...sprayed a little WD 40 in/around the shock bolts...no diff.

I know they're sealed ball joints...time for new A Arms...can the ball joints be replaced?

Was thinking of using a teeny, tiny grease needle to lube up the joints.

Any other suggestions?

Try greesing the bushings in the bottom of the front shocks - I had this happen to me a few times and it anoying as hell. Take the shocks off and take the bushing out of the bottom and clean and greese it good.

Well...you boys have me a little happier now...

I'd much rather remove the shocks then go A-ARM/ball joint shopping.

Was planning on a pre-season tear down for a good cleaining and greasing this weekend anyways. Got the jetting spot on and ripping...so, it's time.

Thanks...folks....much, MUCH appreciated.
