OverRaTeD Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 The welded 50mm socket is the way the dealer here does it too. They just impact that nut on with their homemade 50mm socket. They are too cheap to buy the right tools. For that reason I haven't let them work on mine. I made my own 50mm wrenches and torqued them to specs. That worked good, but now I have a locking nut and that is the way to go. It is worth the money to upgrade. I used a marker to mark the nut and the hub so I will know if it ever moves. I haven't had a problem with it coming loose at all. my 2 cents.... Quote
