yfz 450 shocks

Recommended Posts

Loosen the top locking screw, then loosent he bottom one and you will be good. Use a spanner wrench to make life easier. I did it with a hammer and a flathead. When all the preload is out, it sits real nice. Love the way it rides, but havent taken it off many big jumps yet.

I have yfz 450 shocks mounted on +2 a-arms, but the front sitts a little higher than normal. How can i take the preload out? Is that the right thing to do?

it very well could be the right thing to do. perhaps the only thing keeping the frontend from being higher is the binding of the front ball joints. im not for sure abou this, but i thought id throw it in there.
