Holyman Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 I need to find a place to rent an ATV while I'm in Tucson. Can anyone help me out? Quote
BenBB Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 When you goin' Holyman? I got a buddy that lives in Casa Grande, just between Tucson and Phoenix, I'm headed over there the weekend of April 9/10 for his funeral, err wedding. I can ask him if he knows of any tho... Quote
Holyman Posted March 18, 2005 Author Report Posted March 18, 2005 Well on paper we are going 4-22 thur the end of the month. My friends Grandma died recently and the family is going to be selling the house so we are going to go and help out a little and see what it's like around there. We'll get a free place to stay so it'll be worth the trip. Plus I've never been out there should be interesting. Quote
BenBB Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 Never been to Arizona? I love it over there, and this is a good time to go heh, way better than mid-July (you have no perception of what "hot" really is until you've been to Arizona in the summertime, think blast furnace). I'll ask him about rentals this weekend and where else to check out whilst you're there. Last time I was in Flagstaff I saw some grand canyon ATV tours that looked pretty damn cool, the brochure was sporting a couple on one of those tandem-seat Bombardiers... Quote
theeechozen1 Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 There is a place in Apache Junction on Ironwood Rd that rents some quads. This is about a 1 1/2 hour drive from Tuscon if you take the backroads through Coolidge. I'm sure there is a place that rents em in Tuscon too. There is plenty of good riding up that way so I have heard (never ridden there myself) If I was you I would take the 3 hour ride to Yuma and rent ya a shee or slowhundred EX in Brawly they come paddled up and ready to rock Quote
theeechozen1 Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 here ya go! Blue Sky Atv rentals.....520-886-7388 Quote
Holyman Posted March 19, 2005 Author Report Posted March 19, 2005 Thanks that was helpful. Anyone got anything else? Quote
XxMeltIcexX Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 I live in tucson, never rented a quad before but theres tons of plasces to ride. Infact you can ride through the whole desert, a day trip. "Powerline Road" is located in North tucson. I usually start off of tangerine (Get off I-10 when your heading into town from the south and go east) and on your left after a few miles will be a few gates, you cant miss it, there big ass power lines above it. You can either follow the powerliens and go all the way to the florence highway, come out back at I-10, or come out catalina. Or you can just go back in there and just explore. Its fun when its dry, but its raining right now, so i hope it stops soon! Supposd to stop raining monday. You can ask the ATV rentals where there are some good riding places probably too. Like i said, theres TONS of places to ride, but i cant tell you all the places in one post. Have fun Eric Quote
Holyman Posted March 20, 2005 Author Report Posted March 20, 2005 Send me an email so I can get some idea where I can ride when I'm there... [email protected] Quote

XxMeltIcexX Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 Nah, it's not as hot and everyone says it is, lived here my whole life. Gets to abut 110 summer tops - in tucson. Lake havasue is a diff story, it gets to about 120 there. But io love the heat! Eric Quote

My dog won't even shit on the lawn, she insists on shitting on the patio where its dry. Quote
