jonnyrebel2004 Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 I just had an Eric Gorr woods port job done to my shee. I love the low end torque it has. It is like a different machine. It hits the power band right off the throttle and I love it. It also works great for drag racing because you can get a great start off the line. I currentlly have a set of FMF power core II pipes and silencers. I love the way toomys sound. I wouls like to get a set of toomys but I have heard they dont have much low end. Is this true. If I was to get a set of toomys would I loose the low end powerband and torque that I love? If toomys wont work for me then I will just keeps my FMFs. Thanks Travis Quote
Duninshee Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 Toomey's are more of a dune or high end pipe like CPI and Rockets. They might not be the best pipe for what you are looking for. But then again I could be wrong. Quote
J-Madd Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 Toomeys don't have the low end torque and throttle response of the FMFs, but I love mine. They don't rev as fast, but the power is there..just at a different point in the powerband. You'd pick up a couple mph on top probably. Quote
