bansheefreestyler Posted March 14, 2005 Author Report Posted March 14, 2005 no man. im like the only rider in town prctiacally except for a few old guys. ya i checked for spark and nothing. if the spark pplug wires were the problem would the lights still flciker on when i tryed to start it? Quote
banshee76179 Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Well the light is contolled by the voltage regulator...So,if U have problem with them more than likely thats the prob. Check for broken wires, and make sure its grounded properly.. If, U have the tors removed than u don't need the wires connected... If still no spark do a search for Bens stator test.... I would also check the gap on the pickup coil and the flyheel...Should be gapped properly Between .018 and .023 I believe(might wanna research that though) Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted March 14, 2005 Author Report Posted March 14, 2005 so could the voltage regualtor be why its not starting? Quote
